Seriously, Who Voted for Goodluck? (pt. 4, 19 Headline Screen grabs of Jonathan Condemning)

 Jonathan is a passive leader, I know that isn't new. He had a single approach to all situations which was to condemn it. He probably condemned his way into Aso Rock. I know without a doubt if Jonathan had a response to this post, headlines would read "JONATHAN CONDEMNS HE ONLY CONDEMN".

These are 19 screen grabs of online publications of Jonathan condemning, the last one is one I would love to see

1. Before the election in 2011, Jonathan condemned the killing of ANPP gubernatorial candidate. January 29th 2011.

 2. Jonathan also condemned military coup in Mali, it was way easier to do than suggest a solution. Thursday 22nd of March, 2012

 

3. Jonathan condemned the sad incident at Thisday Newspaper's office in Abuja. That was his reaction to Boko Haram attacking the press.

8. A bomb exploded at a PDP rally on 4th of March, 2011 in Suleja, Niger state. Jonathan was so furious all he did was to condemn it.

9. What can I say? Jonathan condemned the attack on the UN House in Abuja, Obama and Ban Ki-Moon had to do the same. That was the 'condemning influence' Jonathan had on world leaders.

10. After Jonathan signed the 3rd Alteration Bill, 2010, he had to condemn the reason he did it.

11. A British along with an Italian got killed by their captors in Sokoto and Jonathan took his most proactive action, he condemned it.

12. Loss of hundreds of innocent lives in Benue, Jonathan took his right step, CONDEMN IT.

13. Blasts at Madalla, Jos, and Damaturu in December 2011 and Jonathan took the shortest action that wouldn't disrupt his Christmas/New year celebration.

The fact is these deaths are serious issues and need to be dealt with by proactive actions and NOT condemnation only. The government see the number of people who lose their lives as mere statistics and measure the seriousness of each bomb blast by the number and cost of each causalities. They don't take into consideration the purpose and responsibilities of the individual. A death could be that of a bread winner, father,friend, child, wife, brother, sister, and most important of all, the future of Nigeria.

Seriously, Who Voted for Goodluck? (Pt. 3 Definitely Not Me)

While a group of people that (blindly) voted for GEJ are taking jabs at him because of his recent policies...I take this as a moment of pride to say, "Thank God I didn't vote for that Mo'fucker". I have nothing against the guy except he doesn't appear to have any leadership quality. I remember someone that exolted his Ph.D, saying he had to be intelligent. I'm not moved by any Bs.c, Ms.c....and Ph.D, the most retarded lecturer that taught in the University had all those. Saying dumb shit like dogs communicated with the use of red eye.

24hrs before the public statement of fuel subsidy removal, GEJ was on TV declaring state of emergencies on some villages. His balls wasn't man enough to tell Nigerians about what he had in store for us in the new year. That act alone showed cowardice. I remember a dinner Obama attended and said something like he had something important to handle as president but still had to come. He joked....dissed Trump and everyone laughed. Less than 48 hrs later the world realised he got Osama. Those are the kind of issues a president should keep numb about till the last minute. Not one that would change the lives and lifestyles of Nigerians.

Who the hell voted for Goodluck? Definitely not me...I voted with a clear conscience and even though my candidate didn't win I still believe I voted wisely.

Seriously, Who Voted for Goodluck? (pt. 2 Fuel Subsidy)

Disclaimer: I don't give a shit about Economics

The western world is facing financial crisis and since Africans admire copying the West, the president majority of Nigerians allegedly/supposedly voted for is considering a move that would lead to probably a double digit inflation. A move that would most likely enable us experience our very own crisis. Yea, let Nigeria be on par with Greece and other countries that need bail-out. All the Nigeria's president want to do is to discontinue subsidising fuel. There have been division if "fuel subsidy" existed in the first place or not. There is a widely accepted belief that any service provided by the government should be cheap...like health care, now we don't need the government to brag about "subsidising" health care for the masses, that is their job. They were elected/selected as [efficient] administrators of natural & human resources on behalf of the masses. All the ministries and state government are mere division of labour to enable them to be effective. The fear basically, like I've inferred above, is that removal of fuel subsidy would make price of fuel obviously more expensive. Since kerosene, PMS & diesel are essential commodities for cars, generators, and...burning armed robbers [jungle justice style], it would have a ripple effect, leading to the increase in cost/price of other goods and services. Notorious armed robbers might even be allowed to walk away free since no one would be willing to sacrifice fuel.
And a lot of Nigerians are finding it difficult to manage their finances as it is. We all pray to see the new year but knowing commodities would be expensive 1st January 2012 is not a way to begin it.

The removal of fuel subsidy was first mentioned during the presidential debate prior to the presidential election earlier this year. Apparently he failed to attend and no one knew his opinion on the issue. That was a question I was curious to know his answer since I had a strong belief he would win [as much as I didn't want him to] because not only do we have majority of Nigerians living below the poverty line, but their intelligent quotient as well. People kept clamouring about him being the chosen one...
After his proposed 6-year single term tenure, nuclear power plans, and fuel subsidy removal all in less than a year, I have a feeling we have a lot more shockers in his years to come. His supporters better get use to him chilling in Aso Rock, because impeaching/removing him won't be as easy as he is going to remove fuel subsidy.

Seriously, Who Voted for Goodluck? (pt. 1) Atomic Energy

Atomic Energy

In this day and age, and stage of world peace, I can't believe a President is considering nuclear energy as an alternative power source. Yea, Goodluck once again is about to create a diversion for scholars to debate ignoring his ineffectiveness on issues of national importance. Since 1976 Nigeria had an Atomic Energy Commission which not surprising had been ineffective. When Obasanjo was in power he was asked his reason for not considering nuclear power to solve the electricity problem. He gave a realistic response which impressed me. The idea behind the statement was, the ineffectiveness behind the current epileptic power supply wasn't lack of resources but ineffectiveness of human resources. The dangers involved was too much a risk if the same hands were involved and considering the political nature of Nigeria.

The aftermath of Japan's Fukushima nuclear facility should have taught Jona the lesson we need not to experience. Even a world power like Germany is gradually withdrawing from that source of energy. So who the f@*k is Nigeria to attempt such? I don't think I should ask that question, I should be asking Seriously, who voted for Goodluck?
